The Great Lakes Newfoundland Club is hosting the 2009 Newfoundland Club of America National Specialty.  We will be hosting this National Specialty in Frankenmuth, Michigan.  Our host hotel is the Bavarian Inn Lodge.  Frankenmuth is accessible by the Flint Bishop Airport (35 min. south) or the Detroit Metro Airport (1 hour 30 min. south).

Frankenmuth is also conveniently located just a few miles off of I-75.  There are many local shops and just south on I-75 is the Birch Run Outlet Mall.  The town of Frankenmuth is referred to as Michigan's Little Bavaria and is home to Bronner's Christmas Wonderland.

In addition to the National there will be an abundance of shopping and dining available to all our National Specialty guests.  GLNC hosted the 2001 National Specialty in this same location.  Great fun was had in 2001 and we expect to bring that all back to you and more.  Visit our website frequently for updates and links to what you can do in addition to the dog show.
